AAA Partners With Integra for Document Authentication

The American Arbitration Association partnered with Integra Ledger to launch blockchain-powered document authentication services.

The American Arbitration Association (AAA) announced September 25, 2025, its partnership with Integra Ledger to offer blockchain-based document registration and authentication services. The collaboration addresses growing concerns over AI-generated document forgeries in legal and commercial systems. The service provides tamper-proof, time-stamped digital proofs while maintaining document privacy and control.

This partnership represents a significant response to the rising threat of AI-driven document manipulation. As artificial intelligence becomes more sophisticated at creating convincing forgeries, legal professionals need reliable methods to verify document authenticity during disputes and arbitration proceedings.

Service Features

Integra Ledger's blockchain technology enables users to generate tamper-proof digital proofs within minutes through a secure online platform. The system allows single or bulk document registration without storing actual document contents. Users maintain full privacy and control over their original documents while creating permanent blockchain records.

The service supports proactive document registration throughout contract lifecycles. Additional documents can be added at any time, and the blockchain-based records remain permanent and independent of any software platform.

Free Access

The AAA and Integra Ledger offer free authentication for up to 100 documents per case or collection. This introductory offer aims to facilitate industry-wide adoption and strengthen trust in the global contract ecosystem.

After the free tier, the service operates on a subscription basis. Plans scale from occasional use to enterprise solutions that integrate directly with existing software to authenticate millions of contracts and related documents.

Industry Response

"As AI becomes more advanced, it's essential to preserve trust in the documents that support our legal and commercial systems," said Bridget McCormack, president and CEO of the AAA. "Our partnership with Integra Ledger gives parties a way to confirm the authenticity and integrity of their documents, today and in the future."

David Fisher, CEO of Integra Ledger, emphasized the partnership's significance. "Trust in documents is the bedrock of modern society, yet AI's ability to manipulate or generate convincing forgeries threatens that foundation," Fisher said. "Working with the AAA, we're pleased to make this service available to all who can benefit from it."

Technology Integration

The AAA continues expanding its technology initiatives beyond traditional dispute resolution. The organization previously developed an AI arbitrator for construction disputes, demonstrating its commitment to leveraging emerging technologies for enhanced security and efficiency.

The blockchain authentication service strengthens the AAA's technology portfolio by addressing document integrity concerns that have emerged alongside advancing AI capabilities. The solution provides permanent verification records that remain accessible regardless of software changes or platform transfers.

About the American Arbitration Association

The not-for-profit AAA leads alternative dispute resolution services, administering over eight million ADR cases since 1926. With offices throughout the United States and Singapore, the AAA serves organizations across virtually every industry with comprehensive ADR services and products.
