Aderant Launches AI Agent Center for Law Firms

Aderant launched its AI-powered Agent Center on May 12, 2026, at Momentum Global 2026 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to automate key financial and talent workflows at law firms.

This release marks a shift for legal operations software, moving law firms from manual, task-based processes toward AI-driven systems that can coordinate work across multiple business functions simultaneously.

What Is the Agent Center

The Agent Center is built on Aderant's Stridyn platform and powered by MADDI, the company's AI engine. It brings together automated workflows, real-time data, and AI agents into a single operational experience for law firms.

The center launches with three agents. The Collections Agent automates and prioritizes collections workflows based on payment risk. The Appeals Agent identifies e-billing rejections and drafts appeals to help firms recover revenue. The Talent Evaluation Agent aggregates matter-level feedback into structured insights to reduce administrative work during staff evaluations.

E-billing rejection refers to invoices that clients or billing platforms push back due to errors or non-compliance, requiring firms to manually investigate and resubmit.

The Platform Behind It

The Agent Center runs on Stridyn, which Aderant has positioned as its core platform for AI-enabled legal back-office operations. Stridyn works alongside Expert Sierra, Aderant's cloud-enabled practice management solution.

More than 275 law firms have adopted Expert Sierra. Of those, 23 percent are in the Am Law 200, a ranking of the top 200 law firms in the United States by revenue.

Chris Cartrett, President and CEO of Aderant, described the intent behind the platform. "With the Agent Center and our continued investment in Stridyn, we are delivering on the vision of an AI-enabled legal back-office, one that is not only more efficient, but more intelligent, predictive, and connected."

Other New Capabilities

Aderant also announced a set of additional AI tools that are already being rolled out to clients alongside the Agent Center.

These include next-generation Accounts Receivable and General Ledger tools that deliver automated workflows and faster financial reporting. The company also released AI-powered time capture and narrative generation tools designed to help firms log billable time more accurately. A Virtual Pricing Director brings data-driven pricing and budgeting tools to firm strategy teams.

Lisa Erickson, SVP of Product Management and AI at Aderant, explained the broader direction. "The Aderant Agent Center reflects that shift by bringing together data, workflows, and AI to drive more efficient operations and better decision-making across the work-to-cash lifecycle of law firms."

The work-to-cash lifecycle refers to the full process from completing client work to collecting final payment, which includes time entry, billing, invoicing, and collections.

Record Turnout at Conference

Aderant announced Momentum Global 2026, its annual user conference held from May 11 to 14 at the Omni Fort Lauderdale in Florida. The company reported record attendance at this year's event.

The conference served as the primary venue for Aderant to showcase the Agent Center alongside all other product announcements.
