Belgian law firm ALTIUS has chosen Legora as its firm-wide AI platform after piloting over 15 tools, beginning full deployment in January 2026.
ALTIUS, one of Belgium's leading independent law firms, selected Legora, a collaborative AI platform built for legal professionals, to support both its lawyers and non-lawyers across the firm. The decision came after an extensive evaluation process and a structured pilot involving roughly 20 lawyers. The move marks a shift from informal, individual AI use to a single shared environment across the entire firm.
The decision signals how law firms are moving beyond small-scale experimentation toward structured, firm-wide AI adoption, with implications for how legal work is staffed, priced, and delivered.
The Evaluation Process
ALTIUS reviewed more than 15 AI tools before selecting Legora. The evaluation was led by an internal legal tech team made up of lawyers from across the firm who had a voluntary interest in legal technology. The team held regular meetings, ran demos, and tested tools over an extended period.
