Bono Network announced Arbiter on November 26, 2025, introducing a document intelligence engine that addresses common AI failures in legal work through segmented architecture. The platform replaces conversational AI interfaces with structured reports and JSON outputs for counsel, compliance, and contract lifecycle management workflows. Unlike generic chat tools, Arbiter provides section-by-section analysis, risk scoring, and auditable recommendations for everyday legal tasks.

Legal professionals frequently encounter AI limitations including hallucinations, context loss, and usability gaps when analyzing documents. Arbiter's architecture aims to solve these issues by delivering reliable, structured outputs that integrate directly into existing legal workflows rather than requiring manual interpretation of chat transcripts.

Core Features

Arbiter offers universal document intelligence across multiple languages and jurisdictions. The system analyzes contracts, policies, and filings with clarity and risk scoring, plus cross-reference detection, key date tables, and financial summaries. The platform uses segmented vector reasoning and multi-pass validation to prevent context drift on long documents.

The platform includes Deliberation Mode, where internal agents debate and converge to review hundreds of sources in one run. This feature returns validated, cited outputs for complex research tasks.

Multi-Jurisdiction Capability

Independent benchmarking conducted in November 2025 found all evaluated AI products and lawyer baselines scored 14 points lower on complex, multi-jurisdiction questions compared to single-jurisdiction tasks. The research identified 50-state surveys as the weakest category due to sourcing and citation challenges. Arbiter's specialized workflows validate authorities across multiple jurisdictions to address this gap.

The Legal Research Module performs jurisdiction-aware research and builds chronological timelines, tables, decision trees, and entity graphs.

Early Results

Arbiter identified critical issues missed by multiple reviewers at three law firms during early testing. In one matter, the platform averted approximately $400,000 in potential exposure by surfacing a buried risk and recommending targeted edits.
