CAM Selects Legora as AI Partner

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) announced its selection of Legora as its firm-wide generative AI platform on July 24, 2025. The decision followed a comprehensive pilot program involving 380 lawyers testing three AI platforms across CAM's offices. This partnership positions CAM to transform how legal services are delivered in India's competitive market.

The Testing Phase

CAM spent six months evaluating AI platforms before making its choice. The firm put three systems through real-world tests, asking lawyers to use them on actual legal work rather than demos.

The evaluation covered six areas: how easy the tools were to use, whether they worked with existing systems, speed improvements, training requirements, accuracy of outputs, and response to live legal questions.

Implementation Strategy 

CAM and Legora will work together to automate routine legal tasks and develop AI-powered client services. The partnership includes implementing Legora's workflow system that can handle complex legal processes automatically.
