Centari released External Views, a white-labeled dashboard letting law firms serve clients direct access to anonymized deal data and benchmarking tools drawn from their own transaction histories. The product, announced July 8, extends Centari's existing Views analytics platform beyond internal firm use into client-facing deployments where firms control exactly what data surfaces.
The launch arrives as large law firms face mounting pressure to demonstrate value beyond hourly billing. General counsel have absorbed more legal operations capability in-house over the past five years, running their own contract analytics, matter management, and AI-assisted review. Law firms counter by leaning on market breadth,i.e, the hundreds of deals across industries and deal types a firm sees annually that no single corporate legal department can replicate. External Views operationalizes that argument by packaging it into a live dashboard rather than a slide deck.
