Conga Launches MCP Server to Pipe Contract Data Into Claude, Copilot

Conga unveiled a Model Context Protocol server at its Amsterdam user conference on October 14, 2026, enabling enterprise teams to query live contract, quote, and pricing data directly inside AI assistants such as Claude and Microsoft Copilot — without opening Conga itself. The launch, paired with a major expansion of the company's native AiMe intelligence layer and five new AI capabilities inside its Contract Lifecycle Management product, marks the most aggressive product push Conga has made since acquiring PROS's B2B commerce assets earlier this year.

The timing is deliberate. Enterprise software buyers are consolidating AI investments around the assistants already embedded in their workflows — Microsoft 365 Copilot and Anthropic's Claude chief among them — rather than learning new interfaces for each point solution. CLM vendors that cannot surface contract intelligence inside those environments risk becoming back-end repositories that users actively work around. Conga's MCP play is a direct response to that pressure, and it mirrors moves already underway at DocuSign, which has been building AI-native contract analysis, and Ironclad, which has leaned into workflow automation for in-house legal teams. The MCP standard itself, originally released by Anthropic, is fast becoming the de facto protocol for connecting enterprise data to large language model agents — giving Conga's implementation immediate compatibility with a growing ecosystem.
