ContractPodAi has rebranded as Leah, marking its evolution from a contract management specialist to an enterprise agentic AI platform serving legal, procurement, and finance functions.

The rebrand signals a strategic shift in the legal tech market as established CLM vendors expand beyond their core offerings. ContractPodAi, founded in 2015, now generates approximately 40 percent of revenue from non-CLM products, reflecting broader enterprise demand for integrated AI solutions across business functions.

Platform Evolution

Leah was originally introduced in 2023 as ContractPodAi's agentic AI platform. The product name has now become the company identity. The name stands for Lead, Empower, Accelerate, and Harmonize.

"We believe no organization should settle for good when great is possible," said Sarvarth Misra, CEO and Co-Founder of Leah. "Companies are increasingly turning to us not only to modernize individual functions, but to fundamentally reshape how their enterprise thinks, operates, and creates value in an AI-native world."

The company has expanded its offerings through three main products. Leah Agentic OS enables enterprises to design, deploy, and govern intelligent agents without traditional seat-based licensing limits. Leah Agentic CLM provides contract lifecycle management with real-time visibility and compliance tracking. Leah Legal offers conversational interfaces for legal teams to automate processes with minimal intervention.

Strategic Positioning

Misra distinguished the company's approach from newer market entrants. "We've had the grind of operationalising AI when AI wasn't fashionable," he said. The company has served some customers for 10 years.

The decision to develop Leah separately from its CLM platform has enabled easier integration of other business functions. Misra noted the recent emergence of Model Context Protocol (MCP), which connects AI systems with legacy software and databases, has accelerated this integration capability.

Market Recognition

Leah has been recognized as a CLM Visionary by Gartner for five consecutive years. The company was named a Leader in the 2025 IDC MarketScape for AI-Enabled Buy-Side CLM Applications.

The company made several senior hires in the past year. James Thomas joined from KPMG, Umang Jain from Gupshup, Kate Poppitt from Hogan Lovells, and Jeremy Coleman from Norton Rose Fulbright. Product launches included a marketplace for agentic AI applications, a tariff agent, and an operating system integrating agentic AI across corporate functions.
