Emma Legal and Ideals have partnered to bring AI-powered vendor legal due diligence directly into virtual data rooms for M&A deals.
The two companies announced their strategic partnership on April 22, 2026, from Antwerp, Belgium and Lucerne, Switzerland. The integration connects Ideals' Virtual Data Room platform with Emma Legal's AI-powered due diligence workspace. The goal is to move legal analysis to the start of a transaction, not the end, so sellers can identify risks before buyers enter the process.
This matters because vendor legal due diligence is currently inconsistent across the industry. High legal costs, long timelines, and uncertainty about buyer interest often delay legal analysis until it is too late to prevent deal failure or renegotiation.
