Eve raises $103M to empower small law firms with AI-driven plaintiff tools.
On September 30, 2025, Eve raised $103 million in Series B funding, achieving a valuation exceeding $1 billion. Led by Spark Capital, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and Menlo Ventures, the round brings Eve’s total funding to $164 million. The company equips small and medium-sized plaintiff law firms with generative AI to tackle corporate giants. This funding underscores the growing “Small Law Empowerment” movement, driven by AI advancements.
This investment highlights the surge in AI adoption among smaller law firms. Unlike larger firms served by companies like Harvey, Eve targets the underserved small to mid-size legal market. The raise follows Clio’s massive funding and vLex acquisition, signaling a trend of significant investments in legal tech.
Funding Details
Eve’s Series B round, announced on X, marks a milestone for plaintiff-focused legal tech. The $103 million will enhance Eve’s platform, which processes over 200,000 legal cases annually. The company has added 350 new law firm clients in eight months, growing its customer base to over 450 firms. These firms have collectively recovered $3.5 billion in settlements and judgments using Eve’s tools.
AI-Powered Tools
Eve’s platform streamlines tasks like creating medical chronologies and calculating damages. “Eve has transformed the way we work,” said Ryan Bliss, Partner at the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin. “We use it to streamline everything from medical summaries to settlement analysis memos, which frees up our attorneys to focus on strategy instead of paperwork.” The platform adapts to the latest AI breakthroughs, ensuring legal accuracy for clients.
Empowering Plaintiffs
Eve positions itself as a “David vs. Goliath” tool, leveling the playing field for individuals against corporate legal teams. “Plaintiff firms fight for fairness against corporations with endless resources,” said Jay Madheswaran, CEO of Eve. “With this funding, we’ll arm them to deliver justice at a scale never seen before.” The platform serves firms like Mike Morse Law Firm and Hershey Law, focusing on personal injury and employment law cases.
