Filevine launched Depositions by Filevine combining AI analysis, automated scheduling, and transcript management into one platform for litigation teams.

The company unveiled this AI-powered solution to address fragmented deposition workflows that plague law firms. Built from acquired Parrot.us technology and Filevine's existing Depo CoPilot, the platform manages every stage of depositions from initial scheduling through post-deposition review.

This launch matters because depositions represent a critical bottleneck in litigation. Legal teams currently juggle multiple disconnected tools and manual processes to coordinate reporters, schedule sessions, and analyze testimony. The unified platform aims to eliminate these inefficiencies while providing real-time AI assistance during depositions.

Measurable Time Savings

The underlying technology has already scheduled nearly 51,000 depositions, saving an estimated 62,500 hours of staff time. This equals 30 years of full-time work and approximately $2 million in cost savings based on average paralegal salaries.

AI Assistant Transforms Live Depositions

Depo CoPilot functions as an AI-powered second chair during live depositions. The system tracks attorney-defined objectives, identifies inconsistencies in witness testimony, and recommends follow-up questions as depositions unfold.
