FirmPilot Raises $22M to Replace Law Firm Ad Agencies

FirmPilot, a Miami-based AI legal marketing platform, closed a $22M Series A-1 round on February 26, 2026, bringing total funding to $27.25M.

The raise signals growing investor appetite for AI tools that target the legal industry, a sector where most marketing is still handled by traditional agencies with little data transparency or measurable ROI.

The Core Problem

Over 425,000 law firms operate in the United States, yet most rely on manual ad management and agency relationships with no clear way to track which marketing dollars lead to actual cases.

Every hour, more than 1,000 people in the U.S. search online for legal help. Despite that volume, 75% of searchers never scroll past the first page of results, meaning firms that do not rank prominently lose most of that traffic entirely.

The cost of this gap falls on firm owners who spend on marketing without knowing what works. FirmPilot was built to replace that guesswork with AI-driven analysis and automation.

The Funding Round

DeepWork Capital led the round, with a significant investment from Data Point Capital. Existing investors including Blumberg Capital, Thomson Reuters Ventures, Valor Ventures, SaaS Ventures, and EarlyLight Ventures also participated.

The round was oversubscribed, meaning investor demand exceeded the amount FirmPilot initially set out to raise. As part of the deal, DeepWork Capital Partner Ken Hall will join FirmPilot's Board of Directors.

Jake Soffer, Founder and CEO of FirmPilot, framed the round around a broader industry shift. "Law firm owners aren't just practicing law anymore, they're building companies. And the firms that will win over the next decade are the ones making the shift from gut-feeling marketing to data-driven, AI-powered growth."

What the Platform Does

FirmPilot's platform covers SEO, pay-per-click ad management, local search, social media, digital PR, and website optimization, all managed through a single dashboard. Its AI model has analyzed more than 5 million pieces of legal marketing content and draws from a proprietary database of over 3,000 legal cases to produce content that ranks in both traditional search engines and AI-driven tools like ChatGPT.

The platform also includes a competitive blueprinting tool that scans a law firm's competitors across SEO, ads, and digital activity to surface growth opportunities. Automated AI agents then handle ongoing tasks such as 24/7 competitor monitoring and content updates, while real-time dashboards show firm owners their return on investment.

Since its founding in 2023, FirmPilot reports that clients have seen case volume increases of 180% or more.

Ken Hall of DeepWork Capital described the investment rationale directly. "FirmPilot is solving a massive problem for a market that has been drastically underserved by technology. The combination of proprietary legal domain data, AI automation, and clear client ROI is exactly what we look for at DeepWork."

Scott Savitz, Founder and Managing Partner of Data Point Capital, added that the platform stands apart from general marketing tools. "Jake and his team have built a genuinely differentiated platform, one that combines proprietary legal domain data with AI automation to deliver measurable client acquisition results."

What Comes Next

FirmPilot plans to use the new capital for two major product initiatives.

The first is a next-generation AI model, built on ten times the training data of its current model, with a target rollout to all clients by Q3 2026. The upgraded model is expected to improve content quality, sharpen marketing tactics, and reduce the time it takes for new clients to see results.

The second initiative involves direct integrations with case management software. By pulling in actual case value data, the platform will be able to direct ad spend and content strategy toward the client types that generate the most revenue for each firm. These integrations will also enable precise attribution, connecting specific marketing activities to specific case outcomes for the first time.

Together, these updates are designed to turn FirmPilot into a revenue operations tool, not just a marketing platform.

Data Point Capital's portfolio includes public companies such as DraftKings and Rent the Runway, and the firm focuses on capital-efficient software businesses in consumer internet, cloud, and AI sectors.
