Harvey Launches 500+ Legal Agents for Law Firms

Harvey launched over 500 purpose-built legal agents and an Agent Builder tool, giving law firms and in-house legal teams ready-to-use and customizable AI workflows across every major practice area.

This launch marks a shift in how legal organizations adopt AI, moving beyond single-task assistants to structured agents that can handle full legal workflows independently, at scale.

Ready-Made Agents

The 500-plus agents cover common legal workflows out of the box, spanning areas including contract analysis, due diligence, compliance, and litigation support. Each agent was built and tested by lawyers, not prompt engineers, and evaluated against accuracy and relevance benchmarks before deployment.

Winston Weinberg, CEO of Harvey, said: "The legal industry is now well past AI as an assistant and officially in the era of legal agents. We wanted every organization globally to be able to chart its own path with agents in Harvey, so we have a deep bench of off-the-shelf agents to choose from."

Law firms can deploy these agents immediately without any configuration. This removes the barrier of needing internal technical expertise before getting value from the platform.

Agent Builder Tool

Agent Builder, now in early access, allows legal teams to take the pre-built agents and customize them using their own knowledge, internal processes, and firm-specific workflows. Legal teams have already created more than 25,000 custom agents on the Harvey platform using this capability.

Anique Drumright, Chief Product Officer at Harvey, said: "Our agents aren't designed by prompt engineers. They're designed by lawyers who've done the work these agents handle. Now every legal team can do the same: take what makes their practice distinctive and turn it into agents that scale."

New agents are added to the platform regularly as lawyers and customers identify additional use cases. Agent Builder and the 500-plus agents are currently in early access and will roll out to Harvey customers over the coming months.

Real Firm Adoption

Willkie Farr and Gallagher, one of Harvey's Innovation Partners, is already using agentic capabilities across complex litigation, corporate, and financial services matters. John Elbasan, Chief Digital and Information Officer at Willkie, noted that the partnership creates a feedback loop that shapes how capabilities evolve in practice, with a focus on governance, reliability, and real-world application.

Elbasan also pointed out that as more clients adopt platforms like Harvey, law firms can meet clients in those same environments and collaborate more directly. This reduces the friction that typically exists when firms and clients use separate tooling.

Transformation Office

Alongside the agent launch, Harvey is expanding its Transformation Office. This team includes legal industry veterans who have managed hundreds of platform rollouts at law firms and in-house legal departments.

The Transformation Office focuses on building strategic rollout plans for organizations adopting Harvey, rather than isolated deployments. The goal is to create internal champions throughout an organization and account for the specific ways different legal teams work.
