How Casebench Started as a Personal Solution and Became Companion of 8000+ lawyers

A son made a case management solution for his father and the tool is now used by 8000+ lawyers along with some of the most prominent legal teams in India.

The Beginning: A Son Helping His Father

Akansh Tayal, an engineer with over 20 years of experience, never planned to build a legal tech company. His journey started when he saw his father—a practicing lawyer—struggling with the everyday chaos of managing cases.

Like many lawyers in India, his father had to:

·        Juggle hundreds of case dates spread across different courts

·        Rely on paper files and manual notes that were easy to misplace

·        Spend hours reminding himself and clients about upcoming hearings
