Juro and Wordsmith Launch AI Partnership via MCP Integration

Juro and Wordsmith announced a strategic partnership integrating their AI platforms through Model Context Protocol (MCP) technology.

The partnership connects both platforms via Model Context Protocol integration, allowing Juro's 550+ clients to access Wordsmith's tools within their existing workflows while enabling Wordsmith users to sync with Juro's contract management system.

The collaboration addresses a key challenge in legal technology: fragmented tools that don't communicate effectively. By using MCP integration, the partnership creates what may be the first deal of its kind in legal tech, allowing two AI-native platforms to work seamlessly together without requiring users to switch between systems.

MCP Technology Enables Seamless Integration

Model Context Protocol serves as a standardized bridge between the two platforms. The integration allows Wordsmith's AI agents to access Juro's contract repository and leverage its AI tools for contract review and data extraction.

"AI unlocks unprecedented opportunities for in-house legal, but the key is getting AI adopted," said Richard Mabey, CEO and Co-founder of Juro. "That means combining AI agents with existing workflows and embedding AI in existing tools."

The MCP approach enables dynamic workflow orchestration. Wordsmith's system can automatically design sequences of tasks, pulling resources from Juro's platform when needed without manual intervention.

Combined Platform Delivers End-to-End Automation

The integrated solution provides AI contract review, data extraction, and automated agents across multiple use cases. Legal teams can maintain control over the entire contract lifecycle while achieving faster turnaround times.

Wordsmith's AI workspace specializes in multi-document processing and pre-processing capabilities that complement Juro's contract-focused tools. The combination allows business teams to self-serve on legal tasks while working within parameters set by legal departments.

"This partnership is about more than integration; it's about giving legal teams the kind of intelligent automation that actually gets used day-to-day," said Ross McNairn, CEO and Co-founder of Wordsmith.

Strategic Expansion Plans

Both companies confirmed the partnership is not a precursor to a merger. Instead, they plan to explore joint marketing opportunities and deeper integration capabilities.

The collaboration represents a shift from traditional legal tech partnerships that typically focus on field merging and notifications. The MCP integration creates what the companies describe as a "USB-C port between two AI applications."

Wordsmith raised $25 million in June 2025, indicating strong investor confidence in AI-powered legal solutions. The partnership positions both companies to capture market share in the growing AI legal tech sector.
