Kirkland & Ellis Bets on Syllo in Multiyear Litigation AI Deal

Kirkland & Ellis, the world's highest-grossing law firm, has signed a multiyear agreement with Syllo, a unified AI-powered litigation platform.

The deal gives Kirkland access to Syllo's integrated suite of case management, eDiscovery, legal research, and drafting tools as the firm deepens its investment in artificial intelligence across its litigation practice. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Kirkland's move follows a broader wave of large law firms locking in preferred legal AI vendors after years of pilot programs and point-solution contracts. Syllo, founded in 2019 by a team of litigators and engineers, positions itself as an all-in-one alternative to assembling separate tools for discovery, research and drafting — a longstanding friction point for complex litigation teams. The partnership signals that elite firms are no longer treating AI adoption as an experiment and are instead committing to platforms at the enterprise level.
