Lawve AI Brings Community Legal Skills to Claude

Lawve AI has partnered with Anthropic to integrate its community-built legal Agent Skills into Claude, making practice-specific legal workflows discoverable inside the platform.

The collaboration addresses a growing problem in legal AI: as more lawyers, in-house counsel, law professors, and legal technologists publish their workflows as discrete skills, finding the right one at the right moment becomes harder. The Lawve AI connector solves that discovery problem directly inside Claude.

The Partnership

Anthropic launched Claude for the Legal Industry, and Lawve AI is part of that launch. Through the new connector, Claude users can search and browse Lawve AI's curated public catalog of practice-specific skills without leaving a conversation.

The connector allows users to search by topic, jurisdiction, language, or workflow. Users can also apply a skill inside a conversation, see which skill was selected and who wrote it, and inspect the full methodology before acting on it.

What Agent Skills Are

Agent Skills are individual units of legal expertise. Each skill captures the working method for one specific slice of the legal domain, authored by practitioners who perform that work.

The catalog covers areas that general AI tools typically do not handle well: subspecialty practices, jurisdictional variation, cross-border legal frameworks, and language-specific drafting. Skills are published by practicing lawyers, in-house counsel, law professors, and legal technologists.

Inside Claude

The Lawve AI connector links Claude directly to the public catalog. Once connected, practitioner-authored skills become searchable and applicable from within any Claude conversation.

When a skill is applied, Claude shows which skill was selected, who authored it, and what it covers. Users can review the full methodology before relying on any output. Lawve AI states clearly that skills are starting points for professional review, not legal advice.
