The Five Agents

LegalOn's AI agents handle distinct tasks within common legal workflows. Playbook creates AI-generated playbooks from customer templates or review guidelines in minutes, not days. Intake responds to legal service requests from business stakeholders by automatically gathering missing information.

Translate handles contracts in dozens of languages, converting them into a user's native language and translating redlines back to the original language. Triage, currently used by early access partners, accelerates high-volume, low-risk contracts by providing fully automated reviews that either approve compliant agreements or escalate issues for legal review. Draft, coming soon, will generate review-ready drafts from existing templates, clause libraries, and deal-specific inputs in minutes.

How It Works

The agents operate through conversational interactions within existing legal workflows. They require minimal setup and no formal training to use. When a lawyer asks to draft a document through the Assistant, the Drafting Agent manages the workflow by gathering relevant precedent from the customer's repository, asking clarifying questions, and delivering a review-ready draft directly in Microsoft Word.

The Assistant provides a conversational entry point to initiate legal work and surface appropriate next steps. Specialized agents like Playbooks and Intake can be activated directly within their dedicated workflows. Together, these agents support hundreds of real-world legal workflows and adapt to different contract types, jurisdictions, and customer standards without requiring pre-built configurations.

Technical Foundation

The agents are built on OpenAI's advanced AI models and operate within LegalOn's secure platform. They are trained to determine which tools and technologies to use for each task, including drafting and editing directly in Microsoft Word, applying contract review playbooks, and performing legal-grade language translation.

LegalOn's product attorneys developed and trained the agents, enriching them with proprietary legal content. The agents deliver transparent and review-ready outputs, with legal teams retaining full oversight and control.
