Legora Launches AI Platform for Law Firm Collaboration

Legora has launched Portal, a new platform that enables law firms to share AI workflows and expertise with clients through a unified workspace.

New York City – Legora announced Legora Portal on November 7, 2025. The platform allows law firms to deliver custom AI workflows, playbooks, and document collaboration to in-house legal teams. Over 400 customers globally use Legora's collaborative AI platform. The launch addresses growing pressure on law firms to demonstrate efficiency as in-house departments adopt AI tools and insource legal work.

For 30 years, lawyers have used email for client collaboration. This creates buried documents, multiple versions, and fragmented communication. Legora Portal centralizes matter-related work in one secure platform with white-labeled, permission-driven access.

Core Capabilities

Law firms can build custom AI workflows for clients. These include contract review using firm playbooks, due diligence, drafting workflows, and automated research. The workflows draw on firms' accumulated knowledge and document libraries.

The platform enables Q&A on large document sets. Clients submit questions through Portal or email. Legora's AI search analyzes thousands of documents simultaneously and compiles responses with source references. Firm lawyers validate and refine these responses.

Teams can collaborate in real-time on tabular reviews and documents. The built-in editor supports comments, task assignments, and notifications. This works across complex matters involving multiple law firms.

Security Features

Legora Portal maintains SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, and GDPR compliance. The platform includes encryption, role-based access controls, and zero AI training or data retention. Firms control information sharing with customizable permissions for every matter, file, and workflow.
