Legora Raises $50M More, Hits $5.6B Valuation

Legora, a Legal AI company, raised an additional $50 million in April 2026, extending its Series D to $600 million and reaching a $5.6 billion post-money valuation.

This extension signals that enterprise investors see Legal AI as a mature, high-growth category, not an experiment. Legora's rapid ARR growth and customer expansion make it a benchmark for AI adoption in professional services.

The Round

The extension brings in Atlassian and NVentures, the venture arm of NVIDIA, as corporate investors. New financial investors include Airtree, Barclays, Geodesic, Insight, Liberty Global, and Nikesh Arora.

Sarah Hughes, Atlassian's Head of Corporate Development and Product Partnerships, said: "As a leader in Legal AI, Legora is showing how deeply integrated, context-aware AI can transform complex workflows. We see strong alignment with Atlassian's vision for AI-powered team collaboration and look forward to supporting their continued expansion."

Growth Numbers

Legora recently crossed $100 million in annual recurring revenue, placing it among the fastest-growing enterprise software companies by that measure. Over the past year, the company scaled from 40 to 400 employees and grew its customer base from 200 to more than 1,000 organizations across 50 or more markets.

The platform now serves tens of thousands of legal professionals. Customers include corporate legal departments such as Barclays and global law firms such as White and Case, HSFK, and Linklaters.

What Customers Are Seeing

Corporate legal departments are now one of Legora's fastest-growing segments. In-house legal teams are adopting the platform as they look to use the same AI tools their outside law firms already use.

Among law firms surveyed, users report an average of 4.3 non-billable hours saved per lawyer each week. Additionally, 42 percent of firms surveyed said they won new client work directly because of Legora.

The Shift to Agents

The company is positioning itself within a broader shift in how enterprise software is delivered. SaaS, or Software as a Service, refers to software accessed on subscription. Legora says the model is moving toward AaaS, or Agent as a Service, where AI systems do not just assist users but complete full workflows on their behalf.

For legal teams, this means systems that combine firm data, local legal knowledge, and AI agents to handle complex tasks end to end.

Max Junestrand, CEO and Co-founder of Legora, said: "Enterprise AI is now entering a new phase. Foundation models are improving rapidly, but the real breakthrough is in how they are applied, where AI does not just assist, but executes autonomously with the right level of human oversight. With the support of our investors and customers, we are building a full agentic operating system for legal work."
