LexisNexis and EvenUp Link Legal Research With Personal Injury Case Intelligence

LexisNexis and EvenUp will connect their legal AI and personal injury platforms under an alliance announced September 1, 2026. The arrangement will let shared law firm customers move information between EvenUp’s Companion assistant and Lexis+ with Protégé, combining case-specific analysis with cited legal authority. The capabilities are expected to become available later this year.

The deal reflects a shift in legal technology from standalone assistants toward connected systems built around a matter’s full workflow. Personal injury practices must interpret facts, assess claims, research governing law, develop strategy and prepare documents. Those activities often sit in separate products, creating handoffs that can slow legal operations and make it harder to preserve context. EvenUp has built its platform around personal injury case work, while LexisNexis brings a broad legal research and AI environment. Their partnership targets the gap between specialized case intelligence and general-purpose legal authority.
