LinkSquares Adds AI Workflow Construction Tools to Its Contract Management Platform

LinkSquares introduced two AI-driven tools designed to let legal and business teams build contract workflows from plain-language instructions. Workflow Builder Agent and Workflow Blueprints extend the Boston-based company’s push beyond contract storage and analysis into process design. The release gives customers a way to create, modify, and govern routing, approvals, and dependencies without starting every workflow from a blank configuration screen.

The move targets a persistent friction point in contract management software. Traditional workflow builders often require administrators or outside specialists to translate business policy into technical rules. This approach becomes harder to maintain as processes vary by contract type, value, business unit, or risk profile. LinkSquares is betting that AI agents can reduce that configuration burden while leaving publication authority with legal teams. Workflow Builder Agent converts a user’s description of a desired process into an editable design containing steps, sequencing, dependencies, and routing. Users can then revise the design through additional instructions, including changes to approvals or assignments. Workflow Blueprints offer a second entry point: prebuilt starting structures for buy-side and sell-side activities before and after signature. LinkSquares also highlighted range-based routing, expanded condition logic, clearer data mapping, assignment and status controls, and restrictions governing which people or groups may initiate a workflow. The company said customers can inspect configurations before activation and retain control over what becomes operational. LinkSquares counts more than 1,200 customers, including DraftKings, ProPharma and TIME.
