Litera on July 15 relaunched as a unified legal technology platform, consolidating its portfolio of document automation, contract management, and e-discovery tools under a single interface powered by its AI agent, Lito. The move marks the company's most significant structural overhaul in years and signals the accelerating push by established legal tech vendors toward platform consolidation.

Litera has spent three decades as a back-office mainstay in large law firms, particularly the Am Law 100. Its tools, spanning contract lifecycle management, document comparison, and due diligence, were historically sold as discrete products. That fragmented approach is increasingly out of step with how enterprise legal departments and law firms evaluate technology. Buyers want fewer vendors, tighter integrations, and AI that operates across workflows rather than inside a single product silo. The relaunch positions Litera squarely in that shift.
