Littler Adopts AltaClaro's DepoSim for Attorney Training

Littler, the world's largest employment and labor law firm, has adopted DepoSim, an AI-powered deposition simulation platform from AltaClaro, to train litigators across the firm starting May 18, 2026.

This adoption signals a broader shift in how large law firms are using AI to build practical litigation skills, moving beyond research and drafting tools into hands-on courtroom preparation.

What DepoSim Does

DepoSim lets attorneys practice conducting oral depositions in simulated litigation scenarios. The platform delivers real-time feedback on questioning strategies, witness control, and overall deposition performance.

AltaClaro built the tool in partnership with Verbit, a company focused on verbal intelligence technology. For Littler's rollout, AltaClaro developed a custom employment case file with input from the firm to reflect its specific litigation practice.

All scenarios in the platform are fictional and created solely for training. The tool does not access or interact with any Littler client data.

Why Littler Chose It

Littler has more than 1,800 labor and employment attorneys in offices around the world. At that scale, maintaining consistent litigation preparation across all offices is a significant operational challenge.

The firm ran DepoSim through an internal review process before approving it for firmwide use. The platform was evaluated for alignment with firm standards before the rollout was approved.

Littler's adoption of DepoSim reflects a growing interest among large law firms in simulation-based training tools. Unlike passive learning formats, simulation tools put attorneys in active practice environments before they enter a real deposition room.

AltaClaro describes itself as a global leader in simulation-based training for legal professionals. The company says its platform is designed to mirror real-world deposition dynamics while keeping the practice environment low-risk.
