Mitratech Partners with iManage for Unified Legal Platform

Mitratech and iManage launched iManage for Mitratech CaseCloud embedding iManage Work directly into CaseCloud to create a unified case, contract, and document management solution for mid-market legal teams.

This partnership addresses a specific market gap where legal teams outside Fortune 200 companies and law firms with fewer than 50 users struggle to access enterprise-grade document management systems. The integration targets organizations that currently rely on basic tools like Dropbox or SharePoint for document management.

First-of-Its-Kind Integration

The new offering represents the first time document management and case management systems have partnered through full embedding rather than traditional connectors. Users can manage contracts, memos, briefs, client files, and legal filings within a single platform without switching between systems.

"This is a pioneering partnership and the first of its kind where document management and case management systems have partnered in this way," said Chris Iconos, General Manager of Legal Solutions at Mitratech.

The solution provides audit trails, version control, and searchable document organization. Corporate legal departments can streamline contract workflows while law firms gain centralized client and matter file management.

Targeting Mid-Market Legal Organizations

The partnership specifically serves organizations that lack internal resources to implement multiple specialized systems. Mitratech serves over 24,000 organizations across 160 countries, while iManage supports more than one million professionals at 4,000 organizations worldwide.

Corporate legal teams outside Fortune 200 companies often use downstream document management providers or basic cloud storage solutions. The integrated platform aims to provide 80% of contract lifecycle management capabilities with faster implementation times.

"We're seeing a groundswell of support from the midmarket for a more robust document management tool," Iconos explained. "If you go to a 50 person law firm or mid-market corporate legal team, they don't have the ability or internal resources to go and buy world class eBilling, case management, document management and document automation tools."

Built on Proven Technology Foundation

The solution builds on CaseCloud, Mitratech's Salesforce-based case and spend management platform launched following its AdvoLogix acquisition. The platform combines Salesforce and AdvoLogix technologies to deliver native integration capabilities.
