Norm AI has raised $50 million from Blackstone and launched Norm Law LLP, an AI-native law firm targeting financial services clients.
Norm AI, a legal and compliance AI company, announced on November 20, 2025, that Blackstone invested $50 million through Blackstone Innovations Investments and Blackstone Growth funds. The New York-based company simultaneously launched Norm Law LLP, which will deliver AI-native legal services with an initial focus on financial services clients. Blackstone and Norm AI will collaborate on developing Norm Law legal services for Blackstone's use.
This announcement marks a significant shift in how legal services are delivered. Norm AI's client base collectively manages more than $30 trillion in assets, demonstrating the scale at which AI is being integrated into legal and compliance workflows.
Blackstone Partnership
Blackstone already uses Norm AI's Legal & Compliance platform to streamline legal and compliance workflows. The platform helps regulated content review processes. The investment expands their existing relationship as Norm AI accelerates growth across legal and compliance AI for in-house teams.
