OneTrust has appointed John Heyman as Chief Executive Officer, replacing founder Kabir Barday, who moves to a Board of Directors role.
The AI-Ready Governance Platform announced the leadership change on February 9, 2026, following strong business performance in its fiscal year that ended January 31, 2026. Heyman brings experience from leading two companies through rapid growth and initial public offerings. Barday will continue serving in a strategic advisory capacity through his Board position.
The leadership transition comes as organizations increasingly adopt artificial intelligence technologies. This shift has created demand for governance solutions that manage data and AI usage. OneTrust positions itself to address this market need through its platform, designed to enable responsible data and AI practices.
Leadership Background
Heyman previously served as CEO at Radiant Systems and Snap One. He guided both companies through periods of rapid expansion and took them public. His background includes building customer experiences and driving strategic innovation in B2B technology companies.
