Sandstone, an AI-native legal platform, has appointed Jessica Nguyen as President, Chief Strategy and Legal Officer, effective March 9, 2026.

Sandstone, headquartered in New York, made the hire to strengthen its product development, go-to-market strategy, and community engagement for in-house legal departments. Nguyen brings over a decade of experience across legal operations at technology companies, including roles as Deputy General Counsel at Docusign, Chief Legal Officer at Lexion, and General Counsel at PayScale, along with four years as an attorney at Microsoft and four years of law firm experience.

This appointment signals Sandstone's push to grow its footprint among in-house legal teams, from early-stage startups to Fortune 500 companies, at a time when AI adoption in legal departments is accelerating.

Nguyen's Background

Nguyen most recently served as Deputy General Counsel for AI Innovation and Trust at Docusign, where she led legal strategy for AI products and governance. She also leads Contract Nerds, a legal community that Docusign acquired, which has grown into a widely used resource for in-house legal professionals.
