Simmons & Simmons has signed a partnership with legal AI provider Legora, extending an automation rollout that places the firm among the most aggressive adopters of AI among Europe's largest law firms. The Magic Circle firm will deploy Legora's collaborative AI platform across multiple practice areas, according to an announcement from the Amsterdam-based vendor.

Simmons & Simmons has been systematically building its AI infrastructure since 2023, when it first disclosed partnerships with legal technology providers to automate document review, contract analysis, and legal research workflows. The Legora deal signals a consolidation strategy: rather than stitching together point solutions from multiple vendors, the firm is betting on a single platform to handle a broader share of routine legal tasks. Legora's product suite includes an editor, mobile app, tabular review tools, workflow automation, and a legal research portal — capabilities that map to the firm's core practice areas in M&A, litigation, banking, and insurance.
