Supio announced a strategic partnership with Thomson Reuters to integrate its AI-powered CaseAware AI platform into the global content company's legal technology portfolio, targeting personal injury law firms in a $61 billion U.S. market.
This collaboration addresses a critical inefficiency where personal injury attorneys spend hundreds of hours manually reviewing medical records for each case. The partnership positions AI-driven automation at the center of legal case preparation, potentially transforming how law firms handle complex documentation and accelerate settlements.

Strategic Alliance
Thomson Reuters customers will now access Supio's AI platform through the company's existing legal technology infrastructure. The partnership was formally announced at Supio Summit, held at Thomson Reuters offices in New York City.
"This collaboration with Supio complements our unified, comprehensive solution in CoCounsel Legal bringing specialized AI for personal injury and mass torts to our clients," said Aaron Rademacher, general manager Small Law Firms at Thomson Reuters.
Market Impact
The global personal injury law software market reached $1.25 billion in 2024 and projects growth to $2.78 billion by 2033. Supio recently raised $60 million in funding led by Sapphire Ventures, bringing total funding to $91 million.
Personal injury attorneys traditionally face delays in settlements due to manual record review processes. Supio's platform automates medical record analysis for personal injury and mass tort cases, maintaining accuracy through human-in-the-loop verification.
Technology Performance
Supio's AI platform achieves accuracy benchmarks up to 97 percent while producing chronologies and demand packages in minutes rather than days. The system trains on millions of personal injury data points and supports over 114 case types.
Users report up to 62 percent increases in caseload capacity and settlement values increasing more than tenfold. Annual recurring revenue has grown 4x, matching customer base expansion.
"Personal injury law is fundamentally about restoring balance for clients. Crucial evidence can get buried in thousands of pages. Supio ensures no injury is undervalued, no evidence overlooked," said Jerry Zhou, Co-founder and CEO of Supio.
