Thomson Reuters Joins NetDocuments ndConnect Program

Thomson Reuters has joined NetDocuments' ndConnect interoperability program, enabling shared customers to integrate CoCounsel Legal's AI capabilities with NetDocuments' platform. The partnership was announced November 4, 2025, at Inspire EMEA in London, allowing legal professionals to access research, document analysis, and drafting tools while maintaining security and governance within their existing document management system.

The integration addresses the challenge legal professionals face when adopting AI tools that may compromise data security or create workflow disruptions. By connecting CoCounsel Legal directly to NetDocuments, attorneys can use advanced AI without moving documents outside their secure environment.

ndConnect Program

ndConnect is NetDocuments' interoperability program that allows legal professionals to integrate AI solutions into their NetDocuments environment. The program supports over 7,000 organizations globally and maintains security and governance standards across all integrations.

Users can share content from NetDocuments to approved AI tools and save AI-generated output back into workspaces automatically. The system eliminates external file handling and keeps all work within the document management platform.

Integrated Workflow

The integration connects CoCounsel Legal's AI capabilities to attorneys' existing document workflows. Legal professionals can conduct research with Westlaw and Practical Law, draft documents using internal content and Thomson Reuters materials, and analyze documents with review capabilities. All work maintains document integrity and metadata within NetDocuments.
