The New Identity
The name Claren draws from the Latin word clarus, meaning clear and bright. Co-founders Gus Neate and Alex Wang announced the rebrand on March 11, 2026, through the company's official blog.
Existing users face no disruption. Logins, data, contracts, and security settings remain unchanged. The company now operates at claren.law.
What the Product Does
Claren provides AI-powered contract review, analysis, and legal research. The platform processes complex contracts and legal workflows within seconds.
Over the past six months, the company reports time savings on complex tasks rising from 50% to 85%. The tools now handle workflows five times longer than they previously could, according to the co-founders.
