End-User Computing Software
Mitratech ClusterSeven is end-user computing (EUC) risk management software that finds and controls spreadsheets, Access databases, scripts and other applications that sit outside IT's control. It builds a central inventory, classifies risk, tracks access and changes, and produces audit evidence for regulations such as SOX, SMCR, GDPR and SR 11-7. It is built for risk, compliance and operations teams in regulated industries, especially financial services, that depend on business-critical spreadsheets.

ClusterSeven starts with discovery: its Discovery tool finds every spreadsheet and EUC asset across the enterprise, including hidden ones, and shows how they connect. Discovered files are classified and stored in a central database, and critical files get deeper analysis using business rules such as formula or macro complexity, sensitive terms like confidential, unprotected client or personal data, and hidden worksheets. Teams then monitor who changes which files and when, using workflows, alerts and role-based security permissions. A single database can handle more than 100,000 files. ClusterSeven can manage review and approval of critical cells in high-risk spreadsheets and automate the documentary evidence regulators ask for, through a reporting dashboard. The product is made up of modules: Enterprise Spreadsheet Manager for the full spreadsheet lifecycle, Cloud Spreadsheet Manager for cloud-based data, Access Database Manager for Microsoft Access, TSM for script-based EUCs, and an Inventory Management System that stores critical applications in one secure place. Mitratech says it supports SOX, SMCR, OpRes, GDPR, SS 3/18 and SR 11-7. Customers quoted include Shawbrook Bank, Janus Henderson Group and Aberdeen Asset Management, one of which said its team built its own rules after a day's training.
