iManage has appointed Ryan Begin and David Zember as vice presidents to lead its global technology partnerships and channel strategy.
Chicago-based iManage announced the dual appointment on April 15, 2026, bringing in two senior leaders to build a more structured, partner-driven growth model as the company pushes deeper into AI-enabled knowledge work for legal and professional services organizations.
This move signals a deliberate shift at iManage toward a platform and ecosystem model, where third-party technology partners, resellers, and integration builders play a central role in delivering customer value, rather than the company relying primarily on direct sales.
New Roles
Ryan Begin joins as Vice President of Technology Partnerships and Ecosystem Strategy. He will work across product, engineering, marketing, and go-to-market teams to build an open, API-driven ecosystem that allows technology partners to build on top of the iManage platform.
David Zember joins as Vice President of Global Channels and Alliances. His mandate covers strategic alliances, technology partners, resellers, and implementation partners, with a focus on aligning these groups to drive customer outcomes and expand iManage's market reach.
Both leaders report directly to Pat Eskew, Chief Revenue Officer at iManage.
What They Bring
Begin spent 14 years at Salesforce, where he helped build the AppExchange, the company's third-party application marketplace. Under his involvement, Salesforce's partner ecosystem scaled to more than 7,000 apps and generated over $6 billion in revenue for partners. His background focuses on building structured partner programs that allow third parties to innovate on a core platform while creating measurable commercial outcomes.
Zember brings more than 30 years of experience across engineering, enterprise sales, channel leadership, and executive management. Most recently, he led worldwide partners, alliances, and independent software vendor (ISV) strategy at Qlik, a data analytics company. At Qlik, the partner organization accounted for approximately half of the company's annual recurring revenue. The program earned multiple CRN five-star ratings and recognition for work in AI, cloud, and data analytics. Zember has been named a CRN Channel Chief multiple times and was recognized as one of CRN's Top 25 Channel Sales Leaders of 2025.
Prior to Qlik, Zember held senior positions at Verint, focused on strategic accounts, and at Amazon Web Services, where he worked on large-scale cloud adoption with enterprise customers.
Pat Eskew, Chief Revenue Officer at iManage, explained the rationale behind the hires. "Partners have always been central to iManage's success, and both Ryan and David bring important strengths that will help us scale our strategy for the next phase of growth," Eskew said. "Ryan brings deep expertise in ecosystem strategy, technology partnerships, and platform development, while David brings extensive experience building high-performing global partner programs across channels and alliances."
Begin described the opportunity at iManage in terms of what customers now require. "Customers are rethinking how knowledge work gets done," he said. "AI, automation, and interoperability are no longer future ideas, they are current expectations. That creates a real opportunity to extend our reach through the right technology partners and deliver more complete outcomes for our customers."
