Datasite and Harvey have integrated their platforms to give legal and deal teams direct access to live transaction data inside Harvey's AI workflows.
This matters because M&A due diligence has long forced lawyers and advisors to jump between disconnected systems, wasting time gathering context before they can act. This integration removes that friction at the point where deal speed is most critical.
The Core Problem
Mergers and acquisitions generate vast amounts of documents, data, and communications spread across multiple teams, advisors, and stakeholders. Legal professionals must review documents, answer diligence questions, spot risks, and draft work under tight deadlines.
Yet most of this work happens across fragmented systems. Teams spend time piecing together context before they can even begin substantive analysis.
What the Integration Does
Through the integration, deal teams can pull approved transaction materials from Datasite directly into Harvey's Assistant, Vault, Workflow Builder, and Word Add-In.
Datasite's existing permission settings carry over automatically into Harvey. This means a user can only access documents they are already cleared to view within Datasite, preserving security protocols without requiring additional configuration.
Rusty Wiley, President and CEO of Datasite, framed the integration as bringing AI to where actual deal work happens. "By giving teams secure, direct access to Datasite content within Harvey, we're helping them uncover insights faster and make better-informed decisions throughout the deal lifecycle," Wiley said.
Winston Weinberg, CEO and Co-Founder of Harvey, pointed to speed as the defining advantage for deal teams. "By connecting documents in Datasite's data rooms with Harvey's AI-powered workflows, we're helping lawyers and advisors move faster through diligence, drafting, and execution while staying grounded in the trusted information that drives every deal," Weinberg said.
Broader Context
The partnership connects to Harvey's recently launched Connector Library, a feature that lets legal professionals pull in documents, data, and institutional knowledge from the tools they already use, directly inside Harvey's workflows.
Harvey currently serves over 1,500 customers across more than 60 countries. The platform is used by global law firms and Fortune 500 companies. Investors backing Harvey include Sequoia, Kleiner Perkins, GV, OpenAI Startup Fund, Coatue, Andreessen Horowitz, GIC, and EQT.
Datasite, headquartered in Minneapolis, has operated in the private markets space for 26 years. Its product portfolio covers sell-side virtual data rooms, buy-side intelligence tools, agentic AI applications (software that can take autonomous action on a user's behalf), and an open data infrastructure layer.
