Littler Adds Employment Shareholder in Charlotte

Littler has appointed Kathleen Lucchesi as a shareholder in its Charlotte office, effective April 13, 2026, strengthening its employment law bench in the region.

Lucchesi joins from Jackson Lewis, bringing over 20 years of experience advising employers on workplace disputes. Her addition reflects Littler's continued investment in the Charlotte market as the city attracts growing business activity.

Her Background

Lucchesi spent more than two decades advising public and private employers on employment law matters. Before entering private practice, she served as an Assistant District Attorney in Charlotte, where she tried more than 100 cases before state and federal juries.

Her experience spans hiring and termination decisions, employee discipline, wage and hour compliance, and family and medical leave issues. She has also represented clients in significant litigation before state and federal courts.

Lucchesi earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Mississippi School of Law. She also holds a B.S., cum laude, from the University of Indianapolis.

Her Practice Areas

At Littler, Lucchesi will counsel employers on discrimination and harassment claims, and guide them through investigations by federal and state agencies. These include the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Department of Labor (DOL), the Employment Security Commission, and the Department of Justice (DOJ).

She also conducts internal investigations involving whistleblower complaints, discrimination allegations, and retaliation claims. Her work extends to drafting employment policies, contracts, and separation agreements, as well as delivering workplace training.

In addition, Lucchesi advises employers through internal crises, including cases involving employee embezzlement or corporate misconduct. This mix of preventive counsel and litigation capability covers the full scope of employer-side employment law.
